Job Description
The Inspector will perform various quality control inspections, checks and tests during the manufacturing of products. Responsible for inspecting materials, parts, and products at different stages of production to ensure compliance with company standards. Compile, interpret and record observations of production processes. Make recommendations for improving processes. Perform receiving, In-process and final inspection of electronic devices under a microscope. Ensure proper documentation is maintained. Identify, communicate, and assist in the resolution of quality related issues. These responsibilities will require interfacing with various departments, such as, but not limited to, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales and Quality Assurance along with outside customer representatives.
Requirements:
· Three to five years of experience preferred.
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Certified IPC and J-STD 001.
· Experience working in a production environment.
· Must be able to work independently, methodically and meet deadlines.
· Must be able to remain focused while performing high volume of inspections.
· Knowledge and use of basic inspection tools. i.e. calipers, micrometers, plug/thread gauges.
· Proficient in MS Office.
· Able to read and understand drawings.
· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Well-developed communication skills but verbally and written.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
