Job Description
Provide Process Engineering support to manufacturing operations for the purposes of increasing yield and reducing labor hours in production. Individual must be an experienced team player with a hands on approach to solving manufacturing problems and improving yields and building efficiencies with leading manufacturer of hybrid power converters and power supplies.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Provide Process Engineering skills to achieve manufacturing goals.
· Work Closely with manufacturing organization to support continuous flow operations
· Using structured data analysis including basic statistics
· Use scientific method to drive for fundamental understanding
· Ensure best practices are communicated, evaluated and implemented
· Develop all processes under the guise of Operations to assure concurrent implementation of technology
· Light mechanical work
· Performs other related duties as assigned
Education/Experience and Skills Required:
· Hermetic Seam Sealing
· Leak Testing
· Aluminum and Gold Wire Bonding
· Die Bonding
· Eutectic Bonding
· Solder processes
· Epoxy technology
· Understanding of Plasma Technology
· Strong computer skills
· Strong verbal and written communication
· Must have at least 10 years of directly related experience and familiarity with MIL-STD-883, MIL-PRF-38534
· AutoCAD and Excel a plus
· Mechanical ability and experience to assist with equipment maintenance
