Job Description
The Master Scheduler (MS) is responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly Program, Project and Production schedules. The MS is responsible and accountable to ensure the company’s activities and processes are completed on time and to budget while meeting all customer expectations. The MS will collaborate and work closely with Program Managers, Supply Chain, Engineering and Operations professionals.
Responsibilities:
· Create, manage, and coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly project and production schedules
· Update and maintain the master schedule considering changes, improvements, and adjustments
· Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives
· Evaluate and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the schedule
· Provide accurate reports and visualizations that indicate project status, metrics, and performance
· Ensure sure all project team members receive the production schedule
· Suggest and implement improvements to scheduling processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency
· Monitor schedule and assigned resources to ensure they meet project deadlines
· General understanding of LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement
· Participate in the evaluation of work progress
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Minimum Required Qualifications
· Associate or Bachelor degree in engineering, product development, or technical discipline. Bachelors preferred
· Three (3) years in a manufacturing environment
· Customer focused mindset and the ability to work across functional boundaries while supporting change and improvement
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
· Proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems
· Understanding of production processes and capacity constraints
· Knowledge of inventory management principles
· Data analysis and reporting capabilities
· Experience in manufacturing or production planning is preferred
· Proficient in MS Office – Project, Excel, Word, Outlook.
· ERP Experience. JobBoss2 and/or Syteline experience is a plus
