Job Description

The Quality Technician will receive incoming shipments, inspect them for accuracy and ensure they match the accompanying documentation. Record, log and sort received items. Verify and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages. Conduct visual and measurement tests and reject and return unacceptable materials. Prepare Certificates of Analysis for customer shipments. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste and input data into quality database. Regularly calibrate tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability in measurements following industry standards. Record calibration results, adjustments and necessary repairs to maintain compliance with quality standards. Perform quality reports and procedure updates. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.

Requirements:

· Minimum three years’ Inspection experience.

· IPC-610 certified a plus.

· Experience working in a production environment.

· Experience with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge and other measuring tools to measure and verify fabricated parts compliant to engineering drawing.

· Must be able to work independently, methodically and meet deadlines.

· Must be able to remain focused while performing high volume of inspections.

· Experience performing both electrical and mechanical inspection.

· Able to read and understand drawings.

· Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) reporting in accordance with AS9102.

· Well-developed communication skills both verbal and written.

· Thorough attention to detail.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports.

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Ability to lift and move up to 25lbs.

· Must be a US Citizenship or Permanent Residency as requirements of ITAR.
