Job Description
In this role you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties for the company. This
includes entering & processing vendor and expense invoices, processing accounts payables/receivables,
billing customers, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial statements, and preparing tax returns.
To ensure success as a Senior Bookkeeper, you should have advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and
accounting systems, excellent project management skills, and a good eye for detail. A skilled full charge
bookkeeper efficiently handles all the accounting needs of the company, streamlining the business.
Education:
• Minimum of a bookkeeping certificate, associates in accounting or 4 years’ experience within
related field.
Essential Job Functions:
• Managing the full cycle of accounting activities for the company.
• Processing the accounts payable/receivables.
• Collating and entering vendor expenses.
• Monthly bank reconciliation.
• Invoicing clients and customers.
• Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly & yearly financial statements.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, and annual payroll filings
• Proficiency in creating journal entries and a strong understanding of accounting practices and
principles
Essential skills and experience:
• Previous experience as a full charge bookkeeper.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping software.
• Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns.

• Create various journal entries to record GL transactions
• Generate a variety of reports for management upon request, including but not limited to P&Ls,
balance sheets, and cash flow statements and projections
• Maintain accurate books and accounts through periodic account audits
• Compete Annual Financial Reports in compliance with various requirements by federal & state
laws.
• Prepare the books for submission to CPA for annual income tax filing
• Ability to work within strict deadlines.
• Good communication skills.

• Abilities to think, write, and speak articulately, creatively, and effectively
• An ability to work with complete honesty and a high level of energy, commitment, and
responsibility

Physical demands and work environment:
• Physical demands: while performing the duties of this job, employee is required to walk, sit, use
computer, use phone, and interact with customers and employees. Sitting most shift with computer
and phone use. May be needed to lift up to 10 pounds. Minimal travel may be needed from time to
time.
• Work environment: while performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to office
conversations and company radio. Open office floor plan.
